Keeping a Historic Conversion On Track
The morning of the concrete pour for a 1908 brick warehouse conversion, our crew arrived to find the competitor's single portable restroom overflowing and locked. The foreman was pacing, his crew couldn't start, and the whole day's critical schedule—not to mention basic decency—was about to go down the drain. You could smell the problem from the street.
We rolled in two of our heavy-duty, high-capacity units within an hour, placing them right by the crew entrance for easy access. I personally handled the immediate cleanup of the old unit. The pour started on time, and the superintendent told us he'd never seen a site so focused because the guys weren't wasting time looking for a working bathroom.
Mateo's crew turned a disaster into a non-issue before my coffee got cold.
